From day to day, your skin can look haggard, rough and/or dull. Make sure this winter you use a great moisturizer. Your skin is like fine silk. You don’t treat silk with harsh chemicals. Or even store it in the elements alone. You care for it, just like you should with your skin. I have combination skin, really dry and then a bit oily in the t-zone. (Most problamatic area has been the apples of my cheeks) And then pretty dry everywhere else. Not only is it good to intake oils in your body & add good fats to your diet, its also great to use on your skin.
Don’t you dare think that if you use oil on your face, it will make your skin oily & it will cause your face to break out. It usually won’t. (I say usually, because every skin/face is different.) I use an oil based cleasing balm and then I use argan oil as my moisturizer. Argan oil is so so good. It penetrates your skin, revitalizing it to the max. Your skin will look dewy, fresh & glowy right on time for holiday parties. And of course Christmas morning!
I would be Josie Maran’s spokesperson if she would let me! I love all of her items.. Well, the items I have tried so far. 🙂 I use Josie Maran argan oil every night after I cleanse my face. I use 1-2 drops for my whole face. I spray on my rosewater witchhazel toner, and then I add the argan oil while my face is still wet and rub it in. And let it air dry. By morning my face feels soooo soft. Its such an amazing product! Perfect for a stocking stuffer too!
Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania spinosa L.) that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. World-wide, it’s gaining a reputation both as an ingredient in high-end, personal-care products and as a heart-healthy gourmet product.
