Diy Friday: Amore tee

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That’s amore
When the world seems to shine like you’ve had too much wine
That’s amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you’ll sing “Vita bella”
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella

Italian: Amore = Love :English
Want a short for vday?! I have a quick and easy graphic tee that looks like you bought it from Madewell when really you made it! Whoohoo!

What to Gather:
Paint (I used acrylic black paint)
Foam flat headed brush
7″ letter stencils (you can get these from Staples)
Washi or masking tape
Crewneck Tee
Paper plate

Step 1. Take your shirt, fold front halfway and iron to make a crease.

Step 2. Lay out your letters, place them where you want them, then add your tape of choice and attach the letters to your shirt.

Step 3. Play with the placement until you have it juuuuust right!

Step 4. Tape all of your letters down. I promise you, this is a vital step. It prevents your letters from slipping while painting.

Step 5. Start by putting paint on the plate, and then loading up your brush. Then start stamping in the opening of the letters. Do this on every letter. Add as much paint for as much opaqueness that you desire.

Step 6. And then add the apostrophe at the end for a more Italian feel. Let dry for a good 12-24hrs. Then apply a high heat setting on your iron and iron all of the letters.

Then, put on your favorite boyfriend jeans, add pink accents; such as, ballet flats + lips, layer some necklaces and a top knot and you’re good to go for V-day…or any day!!! Make sure to half tuck your shirt, it gives off a laid back chic vibe.
And voila! And instant Valentine’s day look perfect for a day date or for Galentines.

Hope you enjoy! Happy ❤ day! -Ryn
