Diy Friday (Foodie Edition): watermelon, mash & coffee

Just  kidding with that last post! I actually do have a few DIYs for you! And Man, are they tasty!

First up we have Balsamic vinegar/olive oil drizzled watermelon… This is amazingly tasty.
• Cut your watermelon into cubes & place in a bowl.
Drizzle olive oil & balsamic vinegar over the top. Then sprinkle salt over the top. And enjoy!

Next, we have sweet potato mash. Its super yummy and can work with leftovers. Yum!
• Take a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter in it, until it starts to bubble & crackle. Then dice an onion and add it to the pan, let it simmer & caramelize in the pan. Then add already cooked chicken (I used leftover chicken thighs, but you can cook chicken right before you make this dish.) to the mix. Then add diced already cooked sweet potato to the pan with the onion & chicken. Mix it all up & heat it up. Then plate it onto a bowl & sprinkle a tiny bit of salt to it. And enjoy!

And lastly, cold brewed coffee with mocha & half/half. Can I just say, I loooooove coffee, my favorite saying is “I need a little bit of coffee & a whole lotta Jesus.” Ain’t that the truth though!
• So, you’re going to need to make cold brewed coffee. (I suggest getting a toddy maker) So, add the coffee to a cup, about 1/2 cup. Then add 2 tbsp of chocolate syrup to the coffee and stir it up. Then add ice. You will then add water until the visual line of where you want your creamer to go. Then add the cream/creamer/half+half to the cup. Then stir. You may then add stevia to the mix, if you want for extra sweetness. And then Voilà! Enjoy!
Taste the goodness.

And there you have it super easy recipes you can totally make to ease those hunger pains. : )
